The national meeting was cancelled because of super typhoon Yolanda. The Cebu Coalition met again in a general assembly with Cebu Archbishop Jose Palma on January 4, 2014.
On February 1, 2014, the coalition firmed up its statement on current corruption issues.

The president of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) and Cebu Archbishop Jose Palma will host a two-day national consultation on people’s initiative to abolish the pork barrel system at the Archbishop’s Palace in Cebu City on November 8 and 9, 2013.
The Cebu prelate himself signed a personal invitation in support for efforts of the Cebu Coalition Against the Pork Barrel System to wage a national campaign for people’s initiative.
The Cebu coalition is an alliance of Cebu-based civil society organizations, social media groups, inter-faith networks, and Catholic lay groups advocating the abolition of the pork barrel position and strike a mortal blow on patronage politics.
Those invited included representatives of the anti-pork movements in Metro Manila, leaders of Catholic lay groups with networks in all parishes in the country along with representatives of major inter-faith groups.
A criteria for inclusion in the invite list was agreement to the Cebu coalition’s unity statement that was announced prior to the September 29, 2013 anti-pork barrel rally at the Plaza Independencia.
